Master of Architecture (M. Arch) / MBA

In partnership with the Texas Tech College of Architecture, the M. Arch/MBA program is designed for students intending to pursue management opportunities in architecture, development or construction.

program format

 

Requiring 66 credit hours, you can complete your degrees within two to three years. Rawls College will accept 12 credit hours of architecture classes toward the 42-hour MBA degree, while the College of Architecture will accept six credit hours of business classes toward the 42-hour M. Arch degree.

You will work with advisors from both colleges to ensure all graduation requirements are met for each program. Additionally, you must maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher as a graduation requirement. After three semesters, successful completion of a graduate comprehensive exam (GCE) is required.

Applicants must be accepted into the College of Architecture before applying to Rawls College. When applying to Rawls College, students with a GPA of 3.0 or higher will receive a GMAT/GRE waiver.
