Human Resource Management Concentration
When enrolled in the Professional MBA program, you have the opportunity to customize your academic experience by choosing a concentration. Available in all campus locations, the Human Resource Management concentration provides students with the knowledge, skills, and abilities that managers need to complete their jobs, such as recruiting, training and development, compensation, and global management of human resources.

Alongside the Professional MBA curriculum, the Human Resource Management concentration requires Human Resource Management (MGT 5377) and two of the following courses:
Human Resource Information Systems and Analytics MGT - 5385
3 Semester Credit Hours
Focuses on the use of human resource information systems and human resource analytics to aid in the decision-making process in HRM.
Talent Acquisition and Management - MGT 5387
3 Semester Credit Hours
Provides an overview of macro and micro issues pertaining to talent acquisition, development, and management.
Compensation and Benefits - MGT 5388
3 Semester Credit Hours
Designed to provide the knowledge and skills required to design and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits systems within organizations.
Employment Law and Labor Relations - MGT 5386
3 Semester Credit Hours
Provides an overview of the legal aspects of human resource management and an introduction to labor and employment relations.
International Human Resource Management - MGT 5384
3 Semester Credit Hours
Comparative analysis of domestic, international, and multinational business operations and the significance for HRM.
