A desperate playwright kidnaps a successful theatre producer in an effort to stage a haunting presentation of their latest story.

Two sisters return to their West Texas childhood home to clear out its decades of clutter. Together they find themselves haunted by the past, struggling with the present, and facing an uncertain future.

The Snake Eater by Bradley Hewlett

Lacking direction after completing high school, Thomas is working a temporary job as a hired laborer at an archaeological dig in West Texas when evidence of a strange ritual is uncovered. This discovery awakens doubts he has about the religious community that is his home. Over the course of a week, Thomas struggles to unite pieces of insight gathered from his waking life with images emerging from his dreams.
