The leaders in Texas Tech's Office of International Affairs are seeing growth of a program that brings scholars from developing countries to Texas Tech to complete a doctorate degree and help solve food security and availability issues in their native lands.
Three students from Texas Tech's College of Agriculture and Natural Resources are spending the spring working as interns in the nation's capital. Running from January through May, the college's congressional spring internship program offers selected students an opportunity to experience first-hand the government's day-to-day operations.
