Meet the Industry is the recruiting process specifically designed for Energy Commerce students pursuing careers in the energy industry. This series of events connects students to energy companies of all sizes in an effort to secure internships and full-time opportunities after graduation.

The Rawls College has formulated recruiting partnerships with an extensive list of energy companies representing all of the major energy centers. Firms that have regularly participated in the past include Apache, Ascent Resources,  BP, Chevron, Chord Energy, Citation Oil & Gas, ConocoPhillips, Coterra Energy, Diamondback Energy, Energy Transfer Partners, Enterprise Products, EOG Resources,  Equinor, Expand Energy, Exxon Mobil,  Hilcorp, Mewbourne Oil, Occidental, Ovintiv, Permian Resources, Phillips66, Plains All American, Shell USA, SM Energy and Valero. 

Meet the Industry occurs during the fall semester each year.

*Meet the Industry is only open to students who have been accepted into the program and have met all requirements to participate in recruiting including resume prep, mock interviews, boot camp, etc.
