Before registering, please carefully read the messages below about Sunday, August 9th, and our substitution and cancellation policy.
Register$2,195 registration fee covers all materials, breakfast and lunch daily, plus three dinners and cocktail receptions.
Sunday, August 9th
All attendees are expected to attend a mandatory orientation dinner and reception starting at 6:00 pm on the Texas Tech campus. More information will be provided after registering.
We dedicate Sunday, August 9th to covering credit and lending topics (no credit and lending topics are covered during the Monday through Friday Bank School week). Two tracks will run simultaneously from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm (with a working lunch provided), and you may attend either one. Track 1 will be "intermediate" topics and depth of coverage and Track 2 will be "advanced" topics plus case studies. Both tracks are offered every year of the bank school. These tracks are primarily for those directly involved in credit analysis, underwriting, and loan portfolio management. However, if you are not involved in credit, you are still welcome to register for and attend any or all of Sunday. During registration, you will either opt in to attending Sunday, or opt out. If you opt in, you will choose which track to attend as we get closer to August. A schedule and list of topics covered in the Sunday tracks is available for download below.
Credit and Lending Sunday Schedule
Please note: Attending any or all of Sunday's credit & lending sessions is not required to receive your Texas Tech Certificate in Commercial Banking.
Substitutions and Cancellations Policy
- For all registrations made on or before July 1st, payment must be received by July 1st to hold your registration. For all registrations made after July 1st, payment must be made at the time of registration.
- The last day to register is July 26th.
- For cancellations made on or before July 13th, the payer will receive a full refund. Alternatively, the payer may defer the registration for one year. The payer may also substitute an alternative attendee to attend either this year’s or next year’s school. The last day to name the alternative attendee to attend this year is July 13th.
- For cancellations made after July 13th and before July 27th, the payer will receive a refund equal to fees paid less a $250 cancellation fee.
- For cancellations made on or after July 27th, no refund will be provided. Instead, the registrant must defer their attendance for one year. The payer may also substitute an alternative attendee to attend next year’s school.
Accommodations & Transportation
The School of Banking provides a free morning and evening shuttle service between the Overton Hotel and the Rawls College of Business. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide this service for any other hotels.
A nightly rate of $142* has been negotiated with the Overton Hotel and Conference
Center. The rate for Saturday, August 8th, 2026, will be $200*. Please note that Saturday,
August 8th is Texas Tech’s summer commencement, so some hotels me be at or near full
capacity. Please enter your check-in and check-out date. The deadline for reservations
will be July 25, 2026. Reserve a hotel room online or call 806-776-7000 for reservations.

- Self-parking: $10 (plus tax) per day
- Valet Parking: $25 per day
*Convenience Fee: A 2.25% convenience fee will apply to all transactions made by credit
or debit card.
*State Cost Recovery Fee: A $4.93 plus tax per room, per night will apply to all
reservation room rates.
