Ebony Smith, self-described as a servant leader, strives to make an impact and let God lead the way. She is versatile, coming from humble beginnings, she understands the value in hard work, tenacity, mustard seed faith, and most of all love. Growing up in Dallas, TX, Ebony experienced an array of cultures and the worst of the streets. However, she had parents who believed in her “better” and with God’s help, was exposed to Christ at a very early age. She is a first generation college student of Texas Tech University where she played volleyball and made the dean’s list each semester. Today she is an experienced leader who translates strategic growth plans and brand position to achieve company’s global objectives through sales, analysis, project management, and strong interpersonal communication. She is a self-motivated individual who possesses a high degree of professional integrity. Recognized as a producer, who can oversee multiple initiatives with enthusiastic energy, vision, and implementation. She is a versatile and well-organized team player with exposure to multiple industries. She currently works for TEKsystems Global Services as an Area Director of Airlines constructing engagements for clients to help them achieve their business and technology goals. Additionally, she is a money coach, driving individuals to reach and exceed their goals in life. Her passions typically surround children, mentoring and budgeting. She is the chairperson of Dallas Metro Ministries, an inner-city ministry that served her as a child. She also serves on the Rawls Advisory Council to help impact Texas Tech’s business school for years to come. In the past, she has served in her church with the relational care team focused on stewardship of the church’s benevolence funds. Furthermore, she has served in children’s ministry for almost 20 years She also enjoyed being a volunteer arts and crafts director for Camp Reynal over 10 years – a camp for kids with kidney disease. Lastly, she put together the Dallas Kids Expo which drew in over 25,000 guests in its 4 year existence. In her spare time she enjoys being outside, playing indoor volleyball and enjoying brunches with friends and spending time with her family.
