In her 31-year career at IBM, Tina Cooney held client and management roles that spanned across multiple locations (Austin, Dallas, Chicago, New York City and Connecticut) and functional areas  (manufacturing, development, business controls, sales and finance). Much of her career at IBM was in management positions in IBM Global Financing. After retiring from IBM, Tina joined Arrow Electronics, an IBM distributor, for three years as a global account manager to assist in their newly formed division, Arrow Value Recovery.

Tina received her Bachelor of Administration in Marketing from Texas Tech University in 1980 and a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin in 1982.  

Tina has remained passionate about Texas Tech. She is treasurer for the Texas Tech High Riders Alumni and serves on the board for the Lutheran Student Center of Lubbock.  She has been an active volunteer at Texas Tech Therapeutic Riding Center for the past five years.

Tina has one son, Dylan.  She is active in her church, Historic Redeemer Lutheran Church. Tina enjoys attending Red Raider football and basketball games and traveling.
