Zyler Buchanan serves as the business development manager for Bahama Bucks Franchise Corporation (BBFC), a tropical themed dessert concept with 115 locations nationwide. As part of his role in business development, Zyler oversees real estate development, scouting and approval. He also manages and coordinates the franchise recruitment process to fit the company's strategic objectives. Additionally, Zyler serves as legal support for BBFC and monitors all franchise agreements, reviews and preps the federal disclosure documents and assists the EVP with entity structuring strategies.

During his time at Texas Tech, Zyler served as a member of the Rawls College of Business Ambassadors, Presidents Select and Student Alumni Board. He also participated in the inaugural Rawls Finance and Accounting Scholars Program in New York City. 

Zyler currently lives in Lubbock, Texas with his wife Breklyn and daughter Blakely. He continues to serve in the West Texas community and is an active member of Redeemer Church.
