Pathway to STEM MBA Program

The Pathway to STEM MBA program prepares an undergraduate STEM major to complete a Master's in Business Administration upon completion of their Bachelor's degree. The program focuses on leadership development, professional communication, and service learning. Completion of the Pathway program develops business skills for students with a technical background, and prepares them for careers in many industries.*

Pathway participants will register for a one credit hour business seminar course each semester where they will:

  • Gain access to the Rawls leadership speaker series
  • Participate in cross disciplinary service learning projects
  • Have access to GMAT preparation
  • Earn a GMAT fee waiver

*Students must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher and complete the GMAT exam by the end of their junior year in order to apply to the STEM MBA program. Upon acceptance, students may take up to 12 hours in their senior year.

Application Process

Incoming Students

After acceptance to Texas Tech University, incoming freshmen are eligible to apply to the Pathway to STEM MBA program. Applications for incoming students will be open until February 15, 2020.
