A Ph.D. student is required to enroll in 21 hours each calendar year with a minimum of 9 hours and a maximum of 12 hours each semester. Below is a suggested course sequence.

Completion of the dissertation requires the student to conduct and write about original research that would constitute an original contribution in the academic literature. The length of time required to complete the dissertation will vary by student. Some students may require additional background courses in information technology or business.
