Zachary Keeler is a Research Assistant Professor of Business Economics in the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. Keeler earned his B.S. from Frostburg State University and his M.S. and Ph.D. from West Virginia University. His research interests include urban/regional economics, housing/real estate economics, and environmental/natural resource economics. His research focuses on questions related to energy, transportation, entrepreneurship, sports, and natural hazards/economic resilience. Keeler is also active in professional organizations, including the Southern Regional Science Association (SRSA), North American Regional Science Council (NARSC), Regional Science Association International (RSAI), and the Agriculture and Applied Economics Association (AAEA).
