Cong (Roman) Wang is an Assistant Professor of Finance, where he has been on the faculty since 2019. He received his PhD in Finance from Emory University in 2019 and his B.Sc. with Highest Distinction from Purdue University in 2013. His research spans asset pricing, political finance, labor finance, and real estate and household finance. His work has appeared in the Review of Financial Studies, Financial Management, and the Journal of Banking and Finance, and his research was covered by the Wall Street Journal. He serves as a referee for academic journals such as Management Science. He has also served as a discussant at major conferences, including the Northern Finance Association annual meeting. He teaches Investments at the undergraduate level and Options and Futures at the graduate level.
