Jared P. Harrell joined the Rawls College of Business in 2015 as an associate professor of practice. Professor Harrell teaches a range of finance courses, including Real Estate Fundamentals (FIN 3332), Real Estate Investments (FIN4335) and Real Estate Law (FIN3393). He is also the faculty advisor to the Real Estate Organization, an extra-curricular organization that provides its student members with opportunities to personally interact with commercial real estate industry professionals, observe real estate projects first-hand and practically analyze real estate markets and investments.

Prior to joining the Rawls College of Business, Professor Harrell was an attorney at various law firms in the DFW metroplex, where his practice focused on the successful completion of commercial transactions by combining real estate industry experience with finance and transactional economics.
