Yuan Jin is an assistant professor in the Area of Information Systems and Quantitative Sciences at Rawls College of Business, Texas Tech University. She holds a PhD in operations and information management from the University of Connecticut. She teaches both undergraduate- and graduate-level data mining and machine learning courses. Research-wise, she currently studies the economics and knowledge management of online platforms, with a specific interest in crowdsourcing platforms.
