About
Phillip Wiseman is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Texas Tech University. His research primarily focuses on how firms can train and motivate their sales forces to achieve greater business outcomes and how salespeople can grow and sustain customer relationships through different actions. His research has been published or is forthcoming in the Journal of Marketing and the Journal of International Marketing. He has also written and contributed to sales and marketing textbook chapters covering Customer Relationship Management and Marketing Analytics. His teaching interests are in marketing strategy and selling and sales management.
His industry experience includes working as a business analyst for a technology and management consulting firm servicing financial institutions operating on the global, national, regional, and community levels. He also has experience in marketing and operations within the hospitality and education services industries.
Phillip received a B.A. in Sociology from the George Washington University, an MBA with a concentration in Marketing from Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business, where he graduated first in his class, and a Ph.D. from the University of Houston C.T. Bauer College of Business.
