
Rawls Staff Council
The Rawls Staff Council serves as an active, trusted and visible group of staff leaders working alongside Rawls administration, as advocates for change and improvement, and champions for building a culture that values staff, demonstrates it through action, communicates it in words, and ensures its presence in the future.
Vision & Mission
The purpose of the Rawls Staff Council is to serve as an advisory and advocacy leadership group to Rawls administration and to the staff it represents; and provide the functional framework for building a better Rawls.
In partnership with Rawls administration, the Rawls Staff Council is responsible for the creation, promotion and implementation of intentional, sustainable and ongoing initiatives that improve the organizational culture for Rawls staff.
Rawls staff have a voice in the decisions that affect them today, and those that will impact them tomorrow.

recognizes staff members who demonstrate a collegial commitment to building and strengthening
a more supportive and uplifting Rawls staff culture.

Policy & Advocacy
Rawls Staff Council creates and promotes initiatives supporting and empowering the staff. This includes providing a platform for staff to voice their opinions on policies and procedures, advocating for staff by addressing and resolving their concerns, developing and maintaining codes of conduct and support guides, and recommending and proposing revisions to existing policies and benefits.

- Attend a Meeting: Our meetings are open to all staff members. Share your ideas and see how you can contribute. Check our calendar for the next meeting date.
- Volunteer: We are always seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help with various projects and events. Whether you have a few minutes or hours, your time and skills are valuable to us.
- Apply for Chair Positions: Interested in taking on a leadership role? Applications for new chair positions open in April every year.
