A Mother in Dance
Dr. Ali Duffy wears many hats. In the School of Theatre & Dance, she is a professor, associate head of dance, and graduate advisor to students in the dance studies MA program. Off-campus, she is the founder and artistic director of Flatlands Dance Theatre in Lubbock, Texas.

(Re)Introducing Jared Roberts, Assistant Professor of Scenic and Performance Design
Although Jared Roberts is new to the School of Theatre and Dance faculty, he is not new to the school. Roberts joined the School’s staff as Technical Director in 2016 and has played a key role in making Texas Tech classes and productions a success ever since.

Valerie Komkov Hill Has No Idea Why She Started Drawing Llamas
Valerie Komkov Hill (BFA, 1973; BA 1976; MA 1987) is a familiar name to many in the School of Theatre & Dance and Lubbock communities. She has been widely recognized for her artistic contributions and has helped shape the lives and careers of a generation of Lubbock dancers.
