Mark Charney, director of the School of Theatre & Dance at Texas Tech University, along with Cory Norman, Company Manager for the School of Theatre & Dance and alumni of Texas Tech University, have co-written a play titled, Garage Door. 

Described as "A dramatic exploration of past action, fading principles, and who should pay the price", the two performance only premiere of Garage Door can be seen October 18, 2022, at the Arts Club of Washington, and October 19, 2022, at 1st stage in Northern Virginia.  Both performances are free admission; reservations are strongly encouraged due to limited seating.
