It was my Principles of Acting II class that stands out among my favorite memories from Texas Tech. During the course, I learned so much and met so many people that are now some of my best friends. I will never forget this experience, as I enjoyed every day in that class.

My favorite TTU memory actually happened yesterday. A group of us are in Turkey as part of our department's collaboration with our sister school Bilkent University. After performing Antigone in the ruins of a genuine Hellenistic theatre, several of us went to Cappadocia where we took a hot air balloon ride at sunrise.

My favorite memories include presenting at the Mid-America Theatre Conference on the importance of theatre in rural and isolated communities; combining Irish Keening with the practices of Alfrad Wolfsohn for a voice class project with the brilliant Nati Gonzalez; and winning the Irene Ryan National Acting Award alongside one of the most talented actresses I've ever met, Maddie Hiatt.
