In the summer of 1892, the house of Borden is rocked when youngest daughter, Lizzie Borden, is accused of double homicide. Using a fiery blend of punk and rock music, this gothic American myth follows a semi-historical record of the days leading up to the murder, the controversial trial, and acquittal of all charges made against Lizzie.
Content Warning:LIZZIE is not suitable for all audiences. The performance contains strong language; discussion of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse by a family member; implied homicide onstage; death of a pet; discussion of decapitation; and visible fake blood. Viewer discretion is advised.
Lizzie is presented by special arrangement with Broadway Licensing Global. (www.broadwaylicensing.com)
