Biography
Lara Mandrell is a professional communication instructor and course director. With
a master's degree in technical communication and over 20 years of teaching experience,
Prof. Mandrell specializes in business and managerial communication, often using workplace
simulations to connect classroom learning with real-world practice. Since 2015, she
has taught exclusively online, drawing on her background in instructional design to
create engaging and accessible learning experiences.
Prof. Mandrell also teaches at TTU's Highland Lakes campus in Marble Falls, TX, in
the Local Government Leadership Certificate Program, where she works with current
and aspiring city leaders to expand their communication strategies and apply them
effectively in leading their organizations and serving their communities.
