There are a number of ways the College of Media and Communication promotes job opportunities. Career & Internship Fair

The College of Media & Communication will participate in the University Career Fair held Feb. 19, 2025 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. in the SUB Red Raider Ballroom. There will be a large variety of employers at the career fair. Business smart dress is strongly encouraged! Follow us on social media or email us to learn about upcoming events!

Career Conference

The annual Career Development Conference is presented by the Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) alumni and sponsored by Texas Tech University's College of Media & Communication held in January between the fall and spring semesters. Follow us on Instagram for updates!

The conference is open to all students but is specifically designed for juniors, seniors, and recent graduates majoring in communications degrees. It includes panels, speakers, and facetime with MCOM professionals to give students the knowledge and tools they need when they graduate and enter the workforce.
