Why CoMC?
From Day One, each of our departments provides opportunities for students to get involved with their majors. For CoMC students, this might mean anchoring an MCTV newscast, doing play-by-play for Texas Tech Softball on KTXT-FM, pitching a project for RaiderComm PR (Texas Tech's student-run Public Relations agency), filming a documentary with our Adventure Media course, or planning creative strategy for Bullet Advertising, Texas Tech's competitive advertising team. Our students use Day One opportunities like these to gain real-world experience in a number of industry areas, including social media, visual arts, creative strategy, sports media, content creation and many others.
