Continuing Students
Eligibility Requirements
Because all Honors students are gifted academically, Honors College Current Student Scholarships are awarded based on a combination of criteria, and the selection process is highly competitive.
Current Honors students must have completed at least one semester of Honors College coursework and meet requirements for good standing (meet GPA requirement, progressing in honors coursework) with the Honors College. Students will not be eligible to receive scholarship funding if they are not in good standing with the Honors College.
Successful applicants should demonstrate exceptional performance in academic coursework, Honors and campus involvement, and consistent service to the Honors College or the community. Please take time to express your thoughts in the essay portion of the application.
Although financial need and family circumstances are not primary factors in awarding Honors scholarships, they are considered for need-based scholarships.
To be considered for Honors College scholarships, students must meet with an Honors College advisor within 12 months of applying for Honors College scholarships. Retroactive appointments after the scholarship deadline will not be considered. This requirement applies to all current Honors College students except those who've fulfilled their requirements to graduate with Honors from the Honors College.
Open only to undergraduate Honors College students.
Honors scholarship offers pertain to TTU on campus programs of study only and cannot be applied to the TTUHSC.
