Resilience and Retention (R&R) Advising is a goal oriented advising program that focuses on mentorship, skill development, and accountability to encourage student success. Students commit to meeting with an R&R advisor 3 times throughout semster.

The Resilience & Retention Conference unites educators to explore strategies that strengthen student resilience, support systems, and learning environments through collaboration, discussions, and actionable tools improving retention and well-being. 


 


R&R FAQ

 

What is R&R Advising?

R&R Advising works in (at least) 3 meetings: 
  • One at the beginning of the semester where we set your goals and build your success plan. 
  • One at the middle of the semester where we evaluate your success plan and discuss classes for the next semester. 
  • One at the end of the semester where we assess the semester, how we want to improve for the next semester, and discuss a success plan to help you prepare for finals.

How long is R&R?

  • R&R is a semester long commitment consisting of 3 high touch advising meetings. 

When can I join?

  • We start a new cohort at the beginning of each semester!
