Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week is an annual program where people come together across the country to draw attention to the problems of hunger and homelessness.
Program
November, 18, 2021 at 11am – 2pm in various residence halls
Canned Food and Clothing Drive
November 15th – 22nd and 30th
Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Program is a two-part active programming
*The program and drives will take place during National Hunger and Homelessness
Awareness Week and during the annual Carol of Lights® event.
A game simulation that will take place on Nov. 18 at various residence halls
(tabling) at 11am-2pm.
The simulation will include character cards, a chance interaction, an activity
that requires participants
to make decisions based on the needs of their character, and an overview of on
campus resources via a handout.
An active citizenship campaign (canned food and clothing drive) in the residence
halls,
at the TTU Law School and at the student recreation building.
The drives will occur during National Hunger and Homelessness Week from Nov. 15
– 22 and on
Nov. 30th and on the night of the 63rd Annual Carol of Lights® event.
