PFP Spring Career Day 2024
FAQs for Professionals

Who will be attending Spring Career Day?
The primary attendees for Spring Career Day will include May 2025 graduates and students seeking an internship for Summer 2025. While those populations will be the main attendees, this event will be open for all Personal Financial Planning students regardless of classification or program level should they want to attend.

How do I advertise my job openings?
Open positions will be posted through University Career Center on HireRedRaiders.

Can I interview students at Spring Career Day?
Absolutely! Our event will be hosted at [TBD]. Although we do not use University Career Center interview rooms for Spring Career Day, [TBD] has plenty of seating areas to break away from the crowd and conduct a student interview.

What benefit do I receive as a company for attending Spring Career Day?
By attending Spring Career Day, you are getting exposure to some of the top personal financial planning students in the country. You will be able to conduct on-the-spot interviews and give an informational presentation to interested students. In addition to visiting with students, some of our faculty will be in attendance if you would like to visit with them. A welcome breakfast with current students and faculty is also included.

How much is it to attend Spring Career Day?
The cost is $750 for in-person attendance or $250 for virtual interviewing. Please visit our Company Pricing & Benefits page for more information on the registration levels. If your company was a Platinum sponsor for Opportunity Days 2024, this registration fee for Spring Career Day is waived.

What can I expect during the Exhibit Hall?
Each company will be provided a table and two chairs. You are welcome to bring any promotional materials, banners, signage, etc. that you want to put on your table. Outlets for electricity will be minimal, please do not count on having an outlet for displays at your table.

Students will be able to stop by and visit with you at your table and will have their resumes with them. If you speak with a student that you would like to get to know a little bit better, you are welcome to do on-the-spot interviews at any time, however this is optional. You are welcome to take resumes and set up separate follow-up interviews with students if you prefer.

If I am unable to participate in Spring Career Day, can I do a classroom presentation or set up a separate interview day for PFP students?
You are more than welcome to set up a separate interview day through the University Career Center, and we are happy to advertise your visit but we will be unable to facilitate any details or classroom presentations for you.

Are there other events focused on interviewing students?
We host an event in the Fall called Opportunity Days. Employers can conduct interviews with students and connect with them at various events. This three-day event is designed to provide company representatives with a first-hand opportunity to know our students.

With your support, you will receive exclusive benefits for interviewing, company recognition, and be introduced to some of the finest financial planning students in the country.
