Distinguished Alumni Award — Jaime Boyles

Boyles

Jaime Boyles is the Director of Financial Planning and a Partner at Lee Financial. She is loyal to the core as reflected by her more than 24 years at Lee Financial. She manages part of the Financial Planning Team and contributes heavily to the firm's growth through managing client relationships, mentoring new planners, and providing project leadership. Jaime guides her clients by helping them meet and often exceed their financial planning goals and transition through life events, including assisting them with human capital development, retirement planning, cash flow planning, risk management, estate planning, and children's college education.

Jaime is involved in various philanthropic efforts. She is the FPA DFW President as well as the former Director of Pro Bono for the association. Jaime currently serves on the Advisory Council of the Communities Foundation of Texas.  She is an active member of the Dallas Estate Planning Council where she previously sat on the Board of Governors. She enjoyed serving on the Texas Tech University Personal Financial Planning Alumni Advisory Board for many years. Jaime has been named a Best Financial Planner in D Magazine from 2013 through 2021.  She has received the Texas Five Star Wealth Manager Award for seven years.

More importantly, Jaime graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Personal Financial Planning and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. Jaime met her husband Doug at Texas Tech.  They have been married for almost 20 years and are raising three kids, two teens, and one tween, in Richardson, Texas. She is incapable of saying no to her kids' requests for saving animals, which has led to interesting experiences over the years including pets such as ducks and squirrels in addition to the traditional dogs and hamsters. Jaime is an integral part of her kids' school activities and keeps everyone organized. She loves time at the lake with her family and snuggling with her big dog, especially if she can combine that with a good book and a cup of coffee (the bigger the better). On the rare moments away from her family, she can be found having a glass of wine with good friends.
