Shreyesh Arangath

My name is Shreyesh, and I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and

 Mathematics in December 2022. Currently, I work for LinkedIn as a Software Engineer working on maintaining systems that deal with Big Data computation. At LinkedIn, we store over 2EB of data and process 100s of PBs of data every day, for this we need reliable and scalable systems that can handle such workloads. When I'm not at my desk, I like to play soccer, read, and workout!

Accomplishments:

[Internship] Software Engineer at Apple: Improved the reliability of the internal system that is used to design all the custom Apple silicon chips.

[Internship] Software Engineer at Uber: Developed functionality to support server-side dynamic UI generation for the Uber Eats mobile app, particularly the bottom nav bar.

[Internship] Software Engineer at LinkedIn: Supported a big data computation engine, Trino, by introducing a tool that would improve user-debugging experience by 75%

[Undergraduate Research] Coauthored a paper in CHI 2021 under the supervision of Dr. Abdul Serwadda at Texas Tech
