The Global Vision Awards is a recognition to Texas Tech faculty and staff who have undertaken extraordinary efforts to expand our global engagement and the university's global image. Established in 2003, the awards show appreciation for each winner's generosity and continued support of Texas Tech's work to become more globally connected. This event genially occurs in April.

International Week and International Culture Fest
International Week and International Culture Fest is a dazzling celebration of international culture drawing in over 1,200 attendees from across the Texas Tech campus and the Lubbock community. Festivities showcase an incredible tapestry of global traditions, featuring cuisine, artistic performances, dance, and hands-on crafts. Each year the event kicks off with the vibrant flag parade, a spectacular display symbolizing the many nations represented at Texas Tech University.
International Week and International Culture Fest continues to highlight the rich, multicultural spirit of our TTU community, fostering understanding and unity while celebrating the global roots that make our community unique.

Candlelight/Weihnachtsfest
In early December, the Office of International Affairs hosts a celebration of German traditions in conjunction with the National Ranching Heritage Center's Candlelight at the Ranch. Guests can sample German food and children can participate in family-friendly activities.
