Spring 2026 Calendar coming soon!

In 2025, International Affairs had the privilege of meeting Moramee Roy during her Global Guide interview. During that meeting, she talked about her own journey from Bangladesh to Hawaii, USA, while her husband was in university. As an F2 with two children, she found that finding community could be difficult, be that other Bangladeshi's or American friends. While she had a beautiful and supportive family, she often felt lonely and as though she was missing out on learning about American culture. She proposed the development of a group dedicated to bringing the families of international students together, and thus, IFSN was born!

Together, this team has made incredible strides towards bringing families together. Many student voices have vocalized the need for a group like this. We hope you will consider joining one of our monthly events!
