Global Techsans Welcome Day with International Student Life (ISL)

Global Techsans Welcome Day is designed to answer questions unique to you as an international student. International Affairs has designed this with you in mind to help guide you through your transition into Texas Tech and the culture of West Texas. Professionals who know what you are about to go through will discuss the people, programs, groups, materials, and resources that will help you achieve great success as a student here at Texas Tech University!

"Putting on the Dogs: Dogs Without Borders" Photography Exhibit hosted by International Affairs
Thursday, August 27th | 6:00 - 7:30 PM | International Cultural Center
Help us celebrate the (international) dog days of summer as we explore the global origins of the canine breeds we've grown to love. This juried exhibit will feature snapshots taken by TTU students, faculty, and staff. The exhibit will be on display at the International Cultural Center from August 3rd through September 18th, 2026, and reception with be held Thursday, August 27th.
In conjunction with the exhibition, International Affairs is teaming up with The Haven Animal Care Shelter, havenacs.org for the "One Bowl at a Time" Pet Food Drive.

International Wellness Workshop: Homesickness hosted by International Student Life (ISL)

TTU Staff & Faculty Open House at the International Cultural Center

International Affairs invites TTU Staff & Faculty to an Open House at the International Cultural Center. Meet our IA staff who work to advance the international mission of Texas Tech, learn about each unit, and tour the ICC, all while sampling delicious international cuisine from local restaurants.

Fifth Annual Fulbright Alumni Reception with Fulbright at TTU

The Fifth Annual Fulbright Alumni Reception offers Fulbright alumni representing a wide range of disciplines the opportunity to reconnect, network and celebrate the lasting impact of Fulbright scholarship. Featuring keynote speaker, Jason Czyz, President and CEO of the Institute of International Education (IIE).
Call for Entries: Submissions are now open for TTU Fulbright Network: The Ripple Effect, an exhibit to be held in conjuction with this year's alumni reception.
This event is open to all members of the Texas Tech Fulbright community. Fulbright students, visiting scholars, faculty memebers, or any Fulbright Alumnus/a affiliated with Texas Tech are encouraged to attend.

High & Dry XXVI: A Photographic Exploration of the Peoples and Places of the World's Dry Lands. In collaboration with International Center for Arid and Semi-Arid Land Studies (ICASALS). Submissions open August 31.
