CMLL to offer English as a Second Language classes
Texas Tech University's department of Classical and Modern Languages and Literatures(CMLL) will begin offering new English as a Second Language classes for Lubbock's international community this spring. These courses are perfect for spouses of international students and anyone who would like to improve their English. Anyone interested may enroll in any or all of the courses.
These will include three five-week courses in Spring 2019:
- Listening Comprehension and Spoken Communication in English (January 16-February 20)
- Reading and Composition in English (February 22-April 3)
- TOEFL Preparation (April 5-May 10)
Students can earn 1.0 continuing education unit (CEU) for each of the courses. More information and registration forms can be accessed below: https://www.depts.ttu.edu/classic_modern/englishevenings.php
