The Student Business Council (SBC) is a student organization in the Career Management Center. Members of the SBC perform various office tasks, act as ambassadors to the Rawls College of Business and Texas Tech community, and help the CMC staff execute the many events, workshops and services offered each semester. In addition, members of the Student Business Council work with employer partners of the CMC. They assist employers during the Career Fair and other CMC events, provide guidance during on-campus recruiting, and network with them regularly. Members of the SBC are held to the highest standards of conduct and academic achievement and are evaluated each semester by their peer leaders and the CMC staff. The SBC is maintained at a size of 10 members and positions will be filled as needed on a semester-by-semester basis.
