Admission to Energy Commerce
Admission to the Energy Commerce program requires a minimum 3.0 GPA. All required lower level Rawls College and university courses must be completed before starting Energy Commerce courses and students must have the required GPA when they begin Energy Commerce courses.
Students must take GEOL 1303/1101 as one of their lab sciences.
The Energy Commerce degree takes two full years to complete. Online courses are not available.
Early Decision (Freshman Year)
Students admitted under early decision will be allowed to participate in internship recruiting, the Energy Commerce student association, scholarships and other Energy Commerce events.
In order to be eligible for early decision students must have indicated Energy Commerce on the Student Expectation Agreement completed with a Rawls College advisor at orientation. Students admitted under early decision must still complete all lower division courses and have an overall 3.0 GPA before they are eligible to take any Energy Commerce courses.
