Paul Snow is the Head of Renewables, Americas for HSBC Infrastructure Finance, where he leads the bank’s renewable energy financing strategy and execution across the region. In this role, he oversees the structuring, underwriting, and execution of complex project finance transactions across utility-scale solar, wind, battery storage, and emerging clean-energy technologies. He works closely with sponsors, investors, and internal partners to support the transition to a low-carbon economy and to strengthen HSBC’s presence across the Americas renewable markets. Since joining HSBC in 2019, Paul has progressed through leadership positions within the Infrastructure Finance team, including Vice President, Director, and now Head of Renewables. Over his tenure, he has led the financing of numerous large-scale renewable energy projects and helped shape the bank’s strategic approach to energy-transition infrastructure. His areas of expertise include project finance, structuring, financial modeling, deal execution, risk assessment, and long-term asset strategy. In addition to his business leadership responsibilities, Paul serves as the National Co-Chair of HSBC’s Pride Employee Resource Group, where he helps guide the bank’s LGBTQ+ inclusion strategy, community partnerships, and colleague-support initiatives. His work in this role reflects a broader commitment to fostering equitable workplaces and supporting professional development across diverse communities. Paul holds a BBA and MBA, both in Finance, from the Rawls College of Business where he served as an officer of the Rawls Graduate Association and was an active member of the Student Managed Investment Fund. He also studied abroad via international MBA exchange at Aalto University in Finland with a focus on global financial markets. Paul is dedicated to advancing renewable energy, sustainable finance, and inclusive leadership, and is honored to contribute to the Alumni Advisory Board.
