"The CARES Act creates new funding programs for small businesses," said Harrell. "There is a need to act quickly, yet there is a lack of practical guidelines on these programs. We mobilized rapidly to address this dilemma."

The webinar will provide relevant, timely information to; small business owners seeking funds under the CARES Act, finance professionals desiring a practical overview of the CARES Act loan programs and real estate professionals looking for ways to provide advisory value for their clients.

"This particular webinar is designed to provide an insight into the Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) application process administered by the U.S. Small Business Administration," said Mauldin. "The panel will discuss and answer some debtor (borrower) related questions as it relates to the EIDL and other CARES Act Small Business Assistance programs. Following this webinar, participants and viewers will know more about the complexity of the application process. Future webinars will discuss the Payroll Protection Program (PPP) and other current and pressing topics."

Additionally, the webinar will provide students with insights as to how their field of study and the job market will be impacted by these programs.

"We want to provide our students with relevant information that will allow them to add value in a rapidly-changing marketplace," said Harrell.

The webinar is open to the public but will be limited to 100 participants.
