The Jerry S. Rawls College of Business students gathered Wednesday, Sept. 25, at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center during the Rawls Career Management Center's (CMC) annual fall career fair sponsored by Enterprise Mobility. More than 1,700 students explored internships and full-time opportunities with 135 companies.
Recruiters representing Fortune 500 companies, small businesses, nonprofit organizations, and government institutions were present, ensuring various career prospects for students of all majors.
To help students prepare for the event, the Rawls CMC hosted several workshops and encouraged students to schedule appointments to discuss topics such as resume formatting, interview tips, and navigating the career fair.
Following the Rawls Career Fair, 23 companies stayed that Thursday and Friday to conduct on-campus interviews. The week concluded with students participating in more than 250 interviews. The Rawls CMC will host additional companies for on-campus interviews throughout the months of October and November.
