Rawls MBA Programs Climb in 2025–26 U.S. News & World Report Rankings

The college’s full-time and part-time MBA programs rose in rankings, showcasing their growing reputation in the competitive landscape of business education.

In the 2025-26 U.S. News & World Report rankings, Texas Tech University’s Graduate School saw advancements across several programs, with the Jerry S. Rawls College of Business’ MBA programs rising in rankings for the second consecutive year, earning:

The full-time MBA program rose 11 spots to No. 92 of 133 in Best Business Schools. The part-time MBA program climbed seven places to No. 80 of 239 in Part-time MBA, placing it in the top third of ranked programs nationwide. This marks yet another year of improvement for Rawls College graduate business programs, reflecting the college's continued commitment to academic excellence, student success, and workforce readiness.

To determine the Best Business School and Part-Time MBA Rankings, U.S. News assessed schools based on their performance across a set of ranking indicators, including expert opinions and statistical indicators such as program size, student work experience, and the ratio of part-time to full-time enrollment. Peer assessments from deans, program directors, and senior faculty help gauge a program’s academic reputation. For full-time MBA rankings, statistical indicators include faculty quality, research productivity, student selectivity, and post-graduate outcomes such as employment and salary.

These achievements are part of a broader trend at Texas Tech, where several colleges in their graduate program rankings. Mark Sheridan, dean of the Graduate School, noted, “High-quality graduate programs are essential to research and innovation, and to providing the highly skilled workforce needed for the economic vitality of Texas and the nation.”

As programs continue to rise in rankings, these advancements highlight the college's commitment to excellence and reinforce its role in shaping future leaders in the ever-evolving business landscape.
