About

Corey Evans (she/her/hers) joined the School of Accounting full-time in 2019 after completing her PhD at Texas Tech University. Prior to attending the doctoral program, Corey worked for an S&P 500 company, Tyler Technologies, in the area of Financial System Implementation Consulting. Both her teaching and research interests are varied and include cybersecurity issues, information systems, cost/managerial accounting, and governmental accounting.

Corey lives in Ransom Canyon, TX with her husband, Scott, and their two dogs. She enjoys cooking large meals for the family and reading as time permits.
