About
Jason Schwebke is an assistant professor of accounting in the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. Schwebke earned a Ph.D. in accounting from the University of Central Florida. He earned a masters in accounting and a bachelors in finance from Northern Illinois University. Prior to pursuing a Ph.D, Schwebke held positions in insurance and investments, operations, and management. His research interests primarily focus on taxation, particularly judgment and decision making related to taxes and tax policy and compliance issues. Schwebke's work has been published in the Journal of the American Taxation Association. His teaching interests include taxation and data analytics. Schwebke is also an Enrolled Agent, an IRS-granted tax practitioner credential.
