Ryan Huston is an Assistant Professor of Accounting in the School of Accounting at the Rawls College of Business. He joined the Texas Tech School of Banking in 2018. Huston received his Ph.D. in Accounting from Texas A&M University in 2007 and has previously served on the faculty at Florida State University, University of South Florida, and Arizona State University. He also received his undergraduate and masters degrees in Accounting from Texas A&M University and worked as a tax professional at Arthur Andersen and KPMG in Dallas. He currently teaches Tax Research in the MS in Accounting program and Intermediate Accounting. His research has been published in The Accounting Review, Contemporary Accounting Research, Journal of the American Taxation Association, Journal of Financial Reporting, Journal of Management Accounting Research, and Issues in Accounting Education.
