Ezgi H. Ottolenghi is an assistant professor of finance and the assistant director of the Excellence in Banking program in the Rawls College of Business, Texas Tech University. Ezgi's research focuses on investigating financial outcomes of different ownership structures in public companies. Her work includes studies of family ownership, dual class share ownership and dynamics of multiple co-founders founding a company.

Ezgi received her PhD from Temple University in 2017. Prior to pursuing her PhD she worked in the banking industry and primarily focused on credit analysis at various banks. Most recently she served as vice president in commercial banking at Wells Fargo. Ezgi received her MBA in finance from Drexel University and her BS in business administration from Bilkent University, Turkey.
