Laura joined Texas Tech University in 2012 as an assistant professor in the area of finance after earning her PhD from the University of Arizona. From 2018 to 2021, Laura was an assistant professor of practice where she enjoyed teaching the introductory finance class and advising the Finance Association. Her current research focuses on topics in market microstructure and the intersection between financial markets and corporate decisions.
