Nikeya Arrossa serves as the Program Manager of Substance Use and Wellness Initiatives,
where she is dedicated to promoting harm reduction education and supporting the safety
and well-being of students and the community. Originally from Fort Worth, Nikeya came
to Texas Tech University in 2017 to pursue her bachelors degree in Psychology.
After graduation, she worked as a crisis counselor at Womens Protective Services
before becoming a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor at The Ranch at Dove Tree
Treatment Center. In May 2026, she earned her masters degree in Clinical Mental Health
Counseling, further strengthening her commitment to wellness and holistic care.
Nikeyas extensive experience in crisis intervention and substance use treatment equips
her with valuable knowledge and insight in her role. Outside of work, she enjoys crocheting,
making jewelry, and painting. She also loves spending time with her husband, whether
theyre attending Texas Rangers games, hiking, or relaxing at home with their cats,
Pumpkin and Rosemary.
