Position Duties & Responsibilities 

• Uphold and adhere to TTU policies and procedures throughout all interactions with the Undergraduate Affairs team, the college, and the university 
  
  
• Support Red Raider Orientation for CoMC 
  
  
• Act as a peer-advisor for incoming students, providing first-hand knowledge on classes, student organizations, and life at TTU and CoMC 
  
  
• Represent the College of Media & Communication and Texas Tech University in a positive and professional manner 
  
  
• Collaborate with the Undergraduate Affairs team and CoMC Marketing department 
  
  
• Other duties as assigned by the Undergraduate Affairs supervisor 
  
  
• Ideal candidates have initiative, creativity, organizational skills, and passion for being a Red Raider 

We are looking for knowledge and experience in: 

• Interpersonal communication
• Giving presentations to a diverse audience 
• Strong writing skills 
• Leadership 
• Basic content production skills a plus, but not required 

Openings Available: 2

Hours: 15-20 hours per week 

Hourly Rate: $12 per hour 

Time Frame: Summer
