Jeff Klotzman

Jeff Klotzman is a 1976 journalism graduate of Texas Tech. He recently retired after a 45 year career in television news, public school communications, advertising, and teaching. He received the Texas Tech School of Media and Communication's Outstanding Alumni Award in 2oo2. He earned a master's degree in mass communications from Texas Tech in 2000 and served on the COMC faculty as a Hutcheson Endowed visiting professor.

During his career in television news he served as news director at stations in Lubbock, Madison, Austin, San Diego, and Phoenix. He was also Director of Media and Communications for Lubbock Independent School District before retiring in 2021.

Jeff and his wife Kim, a 1977 Texas Tech graduate, have two sons.
