Banner Bearer

Banner Bearers are students who are chosen to lead the procession for the College of Media & Communication at the Texas Tech Commencement Ceremony based on their leadership, professionalism, academic merit, and extracurricular involvement.

Shannon Walker Fall 2024

Our Fall 2024 Banner Bearer Shannon Walker is graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations & Strategic Communication Management and a minor in Communication Studies. Walker plans to leverage skills learned in her undergraduate career to pursue her passion at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing.
