Texas Tech University College of Education's online master's degree in educational and instructional technology has been ranked among the best in the nation.

OnlineMasters.com ranked the degree program No. 13 in its 2019 list of Best Online Master's in Educational Technology Programs. The website identifies 50 top programs in the nation based on academic quality, student success and affordability.

Texas Tech's program was ranked second best in Texas. A total of four universities from the state made the list.

Additionally, OnlineMasters.com named Texas Tech the "Best Virtual Campus."

"Our fully online master's degree program offers flexible coursework that meet the needs of students in both education and industry," said Daniel Kelly, assistant professor of instructional technology at Texas Tech. "Along with our low cost of attendance, even for out-of-state students, this flexibility allows Texas Tech to offer one of the most comprehensive online education environments available to working adults."

The 36-hour program equips students with knowledge and skills in design, development, utilization, management and evaluation of materials, processes and resources to enhance learning.
